No, Bacon Bits is NOT Dead

*Bacon Bits is a fictional character

Hey, veesus, Mikel heire

Just as the world mourned Kurt Cobain on April 5th 1994, we are all still in the process of mourning the much beloved rap/rock singer, Bacon Bits. Mr. Bits exploded into the main stream after his 2012 underground EP, I'm Junior was brought to Geffen records and distributed widely to massive success. Selling over twenty million copies, going double platinum in just six weeks. three more albums followed this, Bits is Back, Sour Cream Ain't Got Sh*t On Me, and his final studio album, #Triggered

It also has to be said that Bacon Bits himself wasn't the only musical angel on the scene, much like another famous rapper, Eminem, Bacon Bits also created an alter ego known only as Junior. With this alter ego he released only two studio albums, but also released two MEGA successful live albums, Junior: Live in Concert and Junior: Live in concert 2.

But that's not what you're here for, is it? You already know the history, you want to hear about how the spirit of Bacon Bits lives on, well, if you really care about someone, and they die, do you forget about them? I was Bacon Bits' number one fan. I actually met him personally, many times, I even ended up being his assistant when he toured Florida. He and I had something special that I felt nobody else would understand except us, and when I got news that he'd passed on, it hit me like a cannonball, I've never felt so many different emotions at one time, ever in my life. Pain, sadness, anger, denial...

Aw, hell. I'm rambling again, allow me to get to the point. Bacon Bits is not here with us, that's for damn sure, but he is here, in a way, not physically but spiritually. His music is still here, it's still his voice, his soul which he poured so much of into his art, as long as he still has fans new and old, who remember him and love the many gifts he graced this world with, then he is not dead to us. As long as someone on the internet make a suicide or emo joke, then his spirit is still alive and well. Every time somebody makes fun of a pale kid with freckles, Bacon Bits is still alive.

I know I'll remember Bacon Bits, will you? Let us all rejoice in his memory, bask in the glory of his controversial and not-so politically correct rap music, his cover songs, and most of all, watch the two greatest live concerts ever performed on DVD, spread the word, my friends, Bacon Bits is NOT dead.
